5 things

I picked the song: Wachin' You by Rodney Atkins.... (it won't let me paste the link) so ya....

Plot: The little kid copies the things that his dad does.

Character: The dad (rodney atkins) and his son

Conflict: The dad swears and then the little boy copies him and swears also

Setting: At first they are in a car, then he is in a barn, then he is in his little boys room.

Theme: You should watch what you say and do because you are always an example to somebody else.

Impulse (revised)

Its around 7pm. A boy shows up at his ex-girlfriends house and rings the doorbell.

(Door opens)
Boy- Uh... hi.

Girl- Oh uh hi, I wasn't expecting to see you anytime soon.

Boy- Ya, sorry for just showing up like this.

Girl- Its ok, here come in. (Boy walks inside, they shut the door behind them)

Boy- How have you been?

Girl- I've been alright, so what do you want? Why are you here?

Boy- Well.....

Girl- Oh no your not doing this again!

Boy- I'm so sorry! I had no where else to go!

Girl- I don't want to keep doing this with you! When will you ever learn!

Boy- I will only stay until I get another job and an appartment, then I will be gone.

Girl- Your always getting evicted, you can't keep a job, and you always come running back to me and expect me to bail you out! You know this isn't fair to me!

Boy- I'm sorry, please. It won't be long I promise.

Girl- Ugh, you have one week!

Boy- Thanks Kate.

Girl- You can sleep on the couch.

Direct Orders

You have been given direct orders to rock out. Rock out like the bell just rang and its friday and you don't have school on monday. Rock out like you got pulled over in your car but didn't get a ticket. Rock out like santa was real. Rock out like you have a magic wallet that always has money in it. Rock out like you can read minds. Rock out like you don't have to wait in line. Rock out like your mom forgot that you were grounded. Rock out like you just fell in love for the first time. Rock out like your on the beach. Rock out like your at the amusment park and the only people there are you and your favorite people. Rock out like summer came early. Rock out like your riding your bike and watching the sun rise. Rock out like you just found a twenty dollor bill in your coat from last winter. Rock out like you got a new puppy. Rock out like this is the last time you can rock out.

Shake the Dust.

This is for the short boys and tall girls
and for the girl with flat curls.
This is for the single parents who work extra hours
for the boy with no one to give flowers
Shake the dust.
This is for the kids with lost dogs
and for the science teacher without any frogs
This is for the little sister who spends her life trying to get out of a shadow.
Shake the dust.
This is for the kindergardener with a runny nose
and for the girl who never got roses.
This is for the doctors who can't find cures
and for the kids who don't like mirrors
This is for the people who can't get jobs
and for the kids who wait up all night just so that they can hear santa's reindeer.
Shake the dust.
Don't let a day go by without remembering how to smile,
don't sit by and let life pass you by,
get up and make something happen.

I'm thinking about you.

I'm thinking about you. I'm thinking about you like roads think about cars, like prisoners think about bars, like aliens think about mars. I'm thinking about you like a jacket thinks about an arm, like a farmer thinks about a farm, like a prince thinks about charm. I'm thinking about you like eyes think about glasses, like students think about classes, like planters think about grasses. I'm thinking about you like the sun thinks about the moon, like a fork thinks about a spoon, like a kid thinks about a balloon. I'm thinking about you like all the time, like you consume my mind, like you make me blind. I'm thinking about you.

Love is....

1. Love is a mirror
2. Love is a black and white rainbow
3. Love is an afro
4. Love is a song
5. Love is a button
6. Love is a train, it takes forever to stop.
7. Love is a paperweight
8. Love is a microphone
9. Love is glue
10. Love is white out

Introduction to my blog :)

I chose to use Pearl Hart as my pen name. Pearl Hart was a famous stagecoach robber in the late 1800's. When she robbed a stagecoach she would hold everyone at gunpoint and take every passengers money, then she would give each person one dollar back. I wonder why she did that? Was she trying to be a good person? What was the point? She cut her hair short, wore men's clothes and always carried a gun. I wish I knew how to use a gun. I also wish I could rob a stagecoach. I definatly don't wish to cut my hair short.
I like to write, but I took this class mostly cause I needed an english credit. I like to do a lot of things like hang out with my friends, and listen to music. I hope that I can be a nurse practitoner or a physical therapist when I get older. Ok I'm done with my intro.
